Three strands are twisted together by hand: rose copper, golden brass and silver-tone metal. Each strand is first shaped separately and brought to tension before all three are twisted into a single braid. Keeping the tension even throughout takes patience, so the braiding is never rushed.

People have worn copper against their skin for thousands of years, long before anyone tried to explain why. They simply kept wearing it, and the tradition quietly passed from hand to hand through the centuries.
